The Role:
As a Sales Administrator, you will be the crucial link between the sales, operations, and design teams. Your day will be varied, providing essential administrative support to ensure the seamless running of projects. Your key duties will include:
- Raising quotations, processing sales orders, and managing delivery notes.
- Maintaining accurate stock levels using the company's systems.
- Scheduling customer deliveries and coordinating after-care services.
- Providing outstanding customer service, updating clients on project progress and responding to queries.
- Assisting the design team by checking drawings and raising quotes.
- Supporting sales and marketing by confidently calling prospective clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Handling general office administrative duties.
We are looking for an exceptional communicator who is flexible, eager to learn, and takes initiative. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent Excel skills and high proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint).
- A technical mindset and the ability to quickly learn new software; prior experience with a CRM system or stock control/order processing software is highly desirable.
- To be proactive and a self-starter, able to understand a brief and manage your own tasks effectively.
- The confidence to be on the phone,
liaising with customers, prospects, and internal teams professionally and clearly. - At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, with a proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. (1 hour paid lunch)
- Location: Peterborough.
