Operations Manager

About The Role

As Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for overseeing the company’s operational processes, with transport management making up 50% of your role.
 
You will lead a team to ensure the efficient assembly, movement, and delivery of machinery, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and cost control.
 
This role also involves creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), overseeing logistics, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams, suppliers, and customers. Additionally, you will have a significant impact on site management, budgeting, and the overall development of operational strategies.
 
Who We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience in operations management, ideally within the agriculture sector or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production planning processes.
• Extensive transport management experience, including import/export, logistics coordination, and rate negotiation.
• Background in managing budgets, cost control, and financial planning.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team, with experience in recruitment and mentoring.
• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and creating safe systems of work.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
• A hands-on, problem-solving approach with a commitment to improving processes and driving efficiencies.
