New Business Manager – MSP/ IT/ Tech Sales
Hybrid (Cambridge – 2-3 days/week after onboarding)
£45150 + Bonus Scheme 
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm

Anne Corder Recruitment is proud to be working with our client, a long-established and forward-thinking IT Solutions company, to recruit a New Business Manager. This is a pivotal, hands-on role within their growing team – and a true stepping stone into senior leadership.
 
 
 About the Role:
 
This isn’t your typical IT re-seller sales job. Our client is looking for someone who can own and nurture strategic relationships, not just sell. You'll be managing a curated list of high-value prospects, using an account-based marketing approach. It's all about building genuine rapport, identifying needs, and guiding clients toward solutions — with technical experts brought in as needed.
You’ll report to the senior leadership team (Director and MD) and play a hands-on role in driving recurring revenue, with onboarding and long-term account management handled by a separate team.
 
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Building trusted relationships with targeted, high-value prospects
  • Taking a consultative, relationship-first approach — no hard selling
  • Collaborating on marketing and lead generation campaigns
  • Using LinkedIn, networking, and market insights to track and engage key contacts
  • Hosting client meetings, lunches, and events to build rapport
  • Qualifying and nurturing decision-makers and influencers
  • Maintaining detailed tracking of activity and progress
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales and/or marketing (within tech or IT  solution services)
  • Strong interpersonal and commercial skills – you're comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing a small team is a plus
  • Familiarity with MSPs, cloud services, or Microsoft technologies is ideal
  • Someone who thrives in structure – you follow process and get results
  • A professional who can take direction, deliver value, and grow with the business
Bonus points if you've worked for an MSP or in a small portfolio, relationship-driven sales environment. Think client lunches, events, and high-touch service — not high-volume cold calls.
