Motor Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester – Peterborough – £32,000–£40,000

Are you a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with MOT testing experience looking for a stable, Monday to Friday role? As a Motor Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards while delivering high-quality MOT testing services.

Motor Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester’s Key Responsibilities:

1 Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations

2 Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles

3 Diagnose faults using appropriate tools and equipment

4 Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes

5 Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant standards

Skills & Experience Required as a Motor Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:

1 Fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)

2 Valid MOT Tester licence (DVSA approved)

3 Proven experience in servicing and repair work

4 Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

5 Full UK driving licence

Benefits Package:

1 Salary £32,000–£40,000 (depending on experience)

2 Monday to Friday working hours (8:30am – 5:00pm)

3 40-hour working week

4 No weekend work – excellent work-life balance
