MOT Tester – Peterborough – £32,000–£38,000 per annum

Our client is a well-established and highly respected automotive service and repair business based in Peterborough, known for its commitment to quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced and qualified MOT Tester to join their friendly and professional workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for an MOT Tester who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a forward-thinking company that values its people.

MOT Tester’s Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out MOT testing to DVSA standards
• Completing MOT documentation accurately and in line with current regulations
• Identifying advisories, defects, and safety issues clearly and honestly
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment
• Supporting the wider workshop team with vehicle inspections when required

Skills & Experience Required as a MOT Tester:

• Fully qualified MOT Tester with a valid DVSA MOT licence
• Proven experience carrying out MOT tests within a garage or dealership environment
• Good mechanical knowledge and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
• Full UK driving licence

Benefits Package:

• Competitive salary of £32,000–£38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday working hours with no weekend
