Maintenance Manager

This role is paying one of the highest packages in the geographical area and would suit someone who is hardworking and career minded.
  
Salary: £60,000 - £74,000 PA
Title: Maintenance Manager
Location: Bury St Edmunds
 
Maintenance Manager’s Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a mechanical industrial plant maintenance team where you will be the subject matter expert when it comes to engineering works
• Leading safety, reliability and production engineering, promotion best practice and mentoring more junior engineers on site
• In charge of maintenance improvement programs where you will look at root cause analysis to recommend appropriate changes/works needed on site machinery
• Develop technical specifications to support the repair of non-routine maintenance breakdowns on site
• Support maintenance tasks to ensure standardisation within the wider business

  
Skills & Experience Required as a Maintenance Manager:

• Need to be a strong mechanical engineer who has experience with fault finding on complex mechanical machinery
• The ability to lead, coach and develop a mechanical engineering team, upskilling more junior engineers whilst acting as the subject matter expert
• Strong communication skills with a forward thinking, strategic mindset
• Experience working within a manufacturing site to include FMCG, food, beverages OR packaging industries

Shift details: Permanent, Monday – Friday days working 8.30am – 4pm 
There is also a commitment to working 1 in 8 weekends with time given off during the week on these occasions.
