Working on a busy manufacturing site this Maintenance Engineer will be working as part of a dedicated team to oversee maintenance, repairs, PPM and servicing across both mechanical and electrical pieces of machinery.

2 weeks of days (8 am to 4 pm), 1 week of early (6 am to 2 pm), and 1 week of late (1 pm to 9 pm).

- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance to maximise plant availability and operational efficiency
- Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs to minimise downtime and ensure safe operation
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health & safety, feed safety, and quality standards at all times
- Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and optimise equipment performance
- Manage spare parts, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement initiatives including energy efficiency
Skills & Experience Required as a Maintenance Engineer:
- Multiskilled engineer with relevant qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds Level 3, HNC) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience working with planned maintenance systems and responding to breakdowns
- Strong health & safety awareness with the ability to work safely and follow risk assessment procedures
- Logical problem-solver with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment
