Are you an HR leader who wants more than just a seat at the table?
Do you thrive on influencing business decisions, driving change and making a genuine difference to people and performance?
Ready for a role where your expertise, ideas and leadership can really make an impact?
We're looking for an exceptional Lead HR Business Partner to take ownership of the people agenda across a busy, multi-site region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute, confident and forward-thinking HR professional who loves being close to the business, challenging the status quo and turning people strategies into real results.
We're not simply looking for someone who knows HR inside out. We want someone who understands business, knows how to influence and isn't afraid to challenge thinking to achieve better outcomes.
You'll be a key member of the regional leadership team, working alongside senior stakeholders to shape decisions, influence strategy and ensure HR is recognised as a genuine driver of business success.
And the best bit? You'll have the opportunity to lead and develop your own HR team while making a visible impact across the region.
This is a role with real scope, influence and responsibility. You'll be balancing strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, partnering with senior management and ensuring the people agenda delivers tangible commercial value.
Responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a trusted strategic partner to the regional leadership team, influencing key business and people decisions.
- Leading the delivery of HR strategies across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
- Driving initiatives across talent, employee engagement, performance, reward, organisational capability and change.
- Leading, coaching and developing a regional HR team, creating a collaborative, high-performing function.
- Supporting and challenging senior leaders to build management capability and improve business performance.
- Championing positive employee relations and ensuring complex people challenges are managed effectively.
- Leading change initiatives and identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and ways of working.
- Working closely with the wider HR leadership team to deliver business-wide projects and initiatives.
- Taking ownership of regional HR performance measures, budgets and continuous improvement.
You will need:
- Significant generalist HR experience, including senior HR business partnering and change management.
- Experience operating within a complex, multi-site environment.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, coach and develop others.
- Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
- A track record of delivering HR initiatives that have made a measurable difference.
- Excellent employee relations knowledge and the ability to navigate challenging situations.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach, combining strategic thinking with operational understanding.
- A degree or equivalent qualification, with CIPD qualification desirable.
Most importantly, you'll bring energy, resilience, credibility and a genuine passion for making things better.
This isn't an HR role where you'll simply be implementing decisions made elsewhere, you'll be helping to make them.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Be part of a regional senior leadership team with genuine influence.
- Shape and deliver a people strategy that drives business performance.
- Lead and develop an established HR function.
- Work across a varied and fast-moving multi-site environment.
- Make a tangible difference to employee experience, leadership capability and organisational success.
If you're an ambitious HR leader who enjoys variety, thrives on responsibility and wants to make their mark, we'd love to hear from you.
