Are you an organised and proactive HR Administrator looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience across the full employee lifecycle?
We're seeking a highly motivated HR professional to join a busy and supportive People team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high-quality service to employees and managers alike.
You'll play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, training compliance, employee records and wider HR projects, while contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.
As HR Administrator, you'll provide essential support across a wide range of HR activities, including:
- Producing employment contracts, offer letters, onboarding documentation and leaver paperwork.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and updating HR systems.
- Managing HR administration processes and responding to employee queries.
- Supporting probation review and performance review administration.
- Coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Assisting with payroll administration and ensuring information is submitted accurately and on time.
- Maintaining training records and monitoring compliance with mandatory training and qualifications.
- Coordinating training bookings, certification records and compliance reporting.
- Supporting occupational health administration and wellbeing initiatives.
- Managing recruitment administration, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and conducting pre-employment checks.
- Coordinating candidate communications and ensuring an excellent onboarding experience.
- Supporting careers events, work experience placements and wider attraction activities.
- Assisting with employee relations administration and HR projects where required.
- Supporting process improvement initiatives and HR system developments.
We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and passionate about delivering excellent HR support.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Assistant or similar role.
- Experience supporting payroll processes and working to deadlines.
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach and willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives.
A CIPD qualification (or working towards one) and experience supporting training administration would be advantageous.
