Role Overview
 
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR professional to join our client on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a critical role designed to support major transformation initiatives including a strategic reorganisation to reshape the business, unlock potential, and improve delivery capabilities.
 
The successful candidate will operate at a senior strategic level, partnering with business leaders to design, drive, and deliver organisational change across a business area of up to 2,000 employees. You’ll play a key role in redeployment, workforce planning, and ensuring our people are aligned with our future operational goals.
 
What you'll be doing:
  • Lead Strategic Change Initiatives – Champion and execute end-to-end change management, focusing on strategic reorganisation and business transformation.
  • Business Partnering at Scale – Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and directors, delivering high-impact HR solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Organisational Design & Workforce Planning – Lead and advise on reorganisation processes, workforce restructuring, and redeployment strategies aimed at improving effectiveness.
  • Employee Consultation & Engagement – Work closely with HR teams to ensure transparent, compassionate consultation processes, upholding our people-first values.
  • Commercial HR Strategy – Drive commercially sound HR practices and ensure change initiatives are aligned with financial and operational priorities.
  • Talent Alignment & Capability Mapping – Identify and mobilise internal talent to where it can add the greatest value, ensuring skillsets match future business needs.
What we're looking for:
  • Proven experience leading large-scale change programmes within complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Operates with gravitas and credibility at Director and SLT level, influencing strategic decisions and guiding senior leaders.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance people impact with operational effectiveness.
  • Highly adept at navigating complex employee relations, redeployment processes, and change consultation.
  • Fast-paced, resilient, and pragmatic – able to hit the ground running in a dynamic environment.
  • Emotionally intelligent and sensitive to the human side of change, maintaining employee trust during transformation.
