We're supporting a growing, fast-paced organisation within the transport and logistics sector to find a highly organised and proactive Fleet Coordinator. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on communication, problem-solving, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
 
The Role of fleet coordinator
You'll play a key part in the day-to-day execution of the transport plan, acting as a central point of contact between drivers, suppliers, and internal teams. This is a role for someone who enjoys being in the thick of operations—keeping things moving, solving issues quickly, and ensuring service levels remain high.
 
What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a transport or logistics administration role is preferred

  • Strong communication skills with a professional and confident telephone manner

  • Ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

  • A natural problem-solver who can think on their feet and suggest practical solutions

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Flexible approach to working hours to support operational needs

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with drivers and suppliers regarding daily schedules

  • Monitor and support the execution of the daily transport plan to ensure smooth operations

  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams to manage changes and uphold customer service standards

  • Coordinate with vehicle management to ensure MOTs and servicing are up to date

  • Ensure compliance with driver hours and working time regulations
