The Role

Working closely with the Operations Manager and planning teams, you'll ensure vehicle and driver standards meet all regulatory requirements – from daily checks to MOT schedules and driver card renewals.
This is your chance to be the go-to expert for compliance systems like R2C and Tachomaster while helping shape best practices in fleet operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily vehicle and driver compliance using R2C
- Coordinating service schedules, inspections, and MOTs – including brake tests
- Managing Tachomaster records (driver downloads, missing mileage, infringements, renewals)
- Keeping the Resource Plan accurate and up to date for vehicle and driver availability
- Conducting driver licence and CPC checks, and managing the driver rota
- Calculating incentive bonuses and maintaining PPE/uniform stock
- Collaborating with planning, workshop, and fleet teams to keep operations moving
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a transport or fleet operations environment (compliance experience desirable)
- A methodical, organised, and detail-driven approach
- Confidence in using fleet management systems like R2C, Tachomaster, or similar
- Strong communication skills to build trust with drivers, planners, and service providers
- Proactive attitude with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
Why Join Our Client?
They're committed to operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. You’ll be part of a dedicated, supportive team where your work truly matters. This role offers the opportunity to grow your compliance expertise while contributing to a well-respected, safety-led fleet operation.
