I'm working with a key client in the Lincoln area to recruit for a new Finance Business Partner to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight, challenging decision-making, and helping shape the future direction of the business.


The Role

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll act as the trusted finance lead for a multiple business areas, turning financial data into meaningful commercial insight. You'll work collaboratively to improve performance, decision making, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with operational leaders to provide commercial and financial support.
  • Delivering insightful analysis on business performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and medium-term financial planning.
  • Producing monthly performance reporting with clear commentary and actionable recommendations.
  • Challenging assumptions and helping stakeholders understand key performance drivers.
  • Working collaboratively with Finance, FP&A and operational teams to improve financial accountability.


I'm looking for someone who combines strong technical finance skills with commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management.


You'll ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or be in the final stages of qualification).
  • Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercial finance role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful business insight.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the confidence to challenge constructively.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production or other operationally focused environment.
  • A proactive approach with a genuine interest in improving business performance.


Experience with ERP systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
