Finance Analyst

I am delighted to be partnering with a well-established business based in Oakham to recruit a Finance Analyst on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to become a permanent position.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional. The role has a strong focus on business partnering and maintaining data integrity, supporting the business through hands-on financial management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver operational finance support including month-end processes, journal postings, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Partner closely with operational and commercial teams to drive performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across systems and reports.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

About You:

• Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven ability to build effective business partnerships across departments.
• Experience in a product-based environment is desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Available to start at short notice.

What’s on Offer:

• 6-month fixed-term contract with potential to go permanent.
• Full-time hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
• Salary: £45,000.
