CNC Machinist Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture precision components using CNC Doosan 3‑axis lathes.
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings with accuracy.
• Use measuring equipment to inspect and verify completed components.
• Contribute to continuous productivity improvements by applying engineering know‑how.
• Work collaboratively within a skilled production team.
• Follow Health & Safety, Production, Inspection, and site discipline procedures.

Skills & Experience Required as a CNC Lathe Machinist

• Minimum of 4 years’ machining experience (or City & Guilds/Engineering Apprenticeship).
• Ability to confidently read engineering drawings.
• Strong inspection and measuring skills.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with excellent problem‑solving ability.
• Team‑focused mindset with strong communication skills.
• Good organisational habits and commitment to workplace safety.
• Flexibility to work reasonable overtime when required.
