Our client, a Chartered Accountancy Practice in Peterborough, due to growth is looking for an Accountant to join the firm on a permanent basis.
They are open to a qualified accountant, or someone qualified by experience, who has previous experience of working within an accounting practice.
There is also the opportunity for this person to become an equity partner in the future, if so desired.
The role includes managing a portfolio of clients, mostly limited companies and sole traders, and include but not limited to;
- Preparing annual accounts for sole traders and limited companies
- Financial and management accounting preparation
- VAT returns
- Advising on Tax matters such as stamp duty, capital gains, inheritance tax etc
- Auditing of accounts
- Payroll duties
Salary is dependant on experience and is negotiable. Part time working will also be considered.
