The Role of Logistics Administrator:
As a Logistics Administrator, you will be the backbone of the logistics operations during the key afternoon and evening period. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating and scheduling transportation and deliveries.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records in our logistics management system.
  • Communicating effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers.
  • Processing shipping and freight documentation.
  • Monitoring shipment progress and resolving any arising issues.
  • Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Shift Pattern & Hours:
This role is based on a fixed afternoon/evening shift: 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
To ensure full team support, there is also a requirement to occasionally cover the night shift (10:00 pm - 7:00 am) to cover for holidays and sickness.
 
Important Induction Notice:
To ensure you receive the best possible training and integration into the team, the first two weeks of your assignment will be spent working on the night shift (22:00 - 07:00) for your comprehensive induction.
 
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
  • An excellent communicator with strong administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Keen to learn and build a long-term career in logistics.
